Bev Ulsrud Van Berkom

Bev Ulsrud Van Berkom’s art was inspired by work done more than twelve centuries ago in Northern Europe. They are her interpretation of personal and universal mythic symbols.

Van Berkom studied art and mythology at the University of Minnesota and the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. She worked in a variety of media including oil, pastel, watercolor, intaglio, as well as silk screen. Her work has been featured in numerous articles and she has authored two books on art and mythology.

Her work is included in corporate and private collections worldwide, and has been displayed in solo and group exhibitions throughout the US and Europe.
